Short tour from Kranzberg to two small river valleys on either side of the mountain ridge in the middle. First from Kranzberg direction East to the Ampertal by Allershausen, then direction West to the Moosachtal by Freising.
Route was selected targettting mainly easy dirt roads and to give a nice view of the beautiful surroundings in this area with both open areas and strechtes through the woods.
There are a few rather steep climbs incorporated into this route. Take my helmet off for anyone that completes this route without getting off his bike.
After 27km there is a nice biergarten in Sünzhausen (slightly of the route, go hundred meter to the right in the town centre, instead of making 90 degree turn to the left).
The route can also be shortened easily. One suggestion is to go straight on to Sünzhausen after km 18. Pick up the route hee, the total length should now be 24km. Biergarten can still be visited.
For all the geocachers (www.geocaching.com) : there is one traditional cache on this route.
