This ride starts at the Lake Calavera Park. Swings, dogs, and people all over. Head up the 1/2 mile uphill and play around on the plateau. While there is no real "loop", there is plenty of fun to be had just messing around on the various trails. And, some of the trails have really technical sections. There might be 10 miles here.
