this is the latest Ironman track of the Malaysian Ironman race at the beatiful island of Langkawi. For 2009 it has been changed; this time you ride a big loop around half of the island where you join the small loop. The first part is pretty smooth, so you can get used to the bike and then you have some (not very long but) very steep climbs. The area at the airport is pretty windy and it's all hot during the day...
The cycling time would vary for good amateurs from 5:00 onwards, pros were cycling around 4:35-4:40.
It's a fun ride but be prepared for the traffic - the roads are controlled by the police, but are NOT fully closed!!!
