Den Haag - Gouda
Relaxed bike tour through typical South-Holland countryside along fields, farms, and meadows with cattle, sheep and wild geese.
The tour starts in Den Haag, near the Peace Palace. From there we cycle in Northeasterly direction through Voorburg and Leidschendam neighborhoods until we arrive in the country side. On small roads and bike paths we cycle past Stompwijk and Zoutermeer, where we also cycle around a nice lake situated at Zoutermeer's Northern end. After Zoutermeer we spend the next kilometers cycling along fields until we, again, reach more "civilized" terrain near Waddinxveen. The next stop is, already, Gouda, which we enter from the North through a nice, water penetrated, posh neighborhood.
